Hundreds of people have died, and many thousands have lost their homes. Rescue teams are working hard to find survivors and give people help.
Indonesia had the worst problems, especially on the island of Sumatra. The rain was very heavy and it caused dangerous landslides. Rivers became too full very quickly. More than 350 people died, and hundreds more are missing. The government sent thousands of police and soldiers to help with the rescue work.
In Thailand, at least 162 people died. In some places, the water was three meters high. This water went into people's houses. The floods affected nearly four million people.
A rare storm, Cyclone Senyar, made the seasonal rains much stronger. Because of the floods, about 80,000 people in Indonesia had to leave their homes. Now, the countries must start the big job of cleaning and rebuilding.
