Uganda Election: Problems and Questions

Vote counting is happening in Uganda. The opposition says the vote was not fair. They say some votes were added. Also, their helpers were scared. These problems make people worry. There were also computer problems. The internet was turned off. This makes the election seem not good.

President Museveni wants to be president again. He has been president for a long time. Bobi Wine is his main rival. Wine says his party's workers were hurt. He said, "Bad things happened with votes." He asked people to "say no to this bad government."

The vote had many issues. Some places opened polling stations late. This was because machines did not work. The internet also failed a lot. There were not enough voting papers. The election group has not replied yet.

Uganda also turned off the internet. This made talking hard. It was difficult to watch the election. President Museveni said there were problems. He said he will check them. But many people are sad about the internet stop. They say it stops people seeing what is true.

Before the vote, there were also problems. Police stopped meetings of the opposition. They used gas and shots. Many people were arrested. This made people feel afraid. People want a fair vote. The final results will come soon. But the claims and problems make people ask questions.
