Greenland is a big place in the Arctic. It is near Denmark. But Greenland has its own leaders.

Lately, many NATO countries are active in Greenland. This is because the U.S. President talked about buying Greenland. He wants the U.S. to own it. He says it is for safety.

This idea made some people worry. The leaders from Denmark met with the U.S. Vice-President. This shows it is important. NATO countries are showing they are in Greenland.

NATO countries are doing exercises. They want to be more seen in the Arctic. France sent people. Germany sent people to help Denmark. Sweden and Norway are also joining. The UK and Netherlands are also there. Canada and France will open new offices.
