Christmas Food Is Hard To Buy

Christmas is coming. Many people in Cyprus do not have much money. Food for Christmas is more costly. This is hard for families.

New numbers show many people earn little. About 28 of 100 people earn little. These people find it hard to pay. Few people earn a lot.

This is a big problem. Old people earn little. They have fixed money. Children are in this group too.

Food prices are higher. A big Christmas meal costs much money. This is more money than last year. This makes it hard for families.

Some food costs more. Cucumbers cost more. Tomatoes cost more. This means Christmas food is hard to buy. Families must choose. They may not buy food.
