The city of Limassol has new rules for bars. The bars are too loud at night. People who live there are not happy. They say the noise is bad.
Now, bars must be quiet. If a bar is too loud one time, it pays €85. If the same bar is loud again in one week, it pays much more money. The city checked the sound at 30 bars. More than half were too loud.
A city leader says the police will help. Some bar owners want good rules. But one bar owner says he does not know about the new rules. The city must work with the police and the bars.
