Cyprus Leaders Disagree

Leaders in north Cyprus do not like a new deal. The deal is between south Cyprus and Lebanon.

A north Cyprus politician, Tufan Erhurman, says the deal is not fair. He says south Cyprus acts alone for the whole island. He says north Cyprus is one of "two equal owners" of the island. He will talk to big groups like the European Union.

Cyprus is one island but has two parts. The south part is friends with many countries. The north part is only friends with Turkey. They disagree about who can make deals for the island.

Another leader in north Cyprus talked about houses. He says they want people from Turkey to buy houses. But he says they are also happy for other people to invest money.
