New Honey Rules in Cyprus

Cyprus makes a new honey law. The law helps people who buy honey. It also helps local beekeepers.

Now, honey labels must be very clear. The label must say where the honey is from. If a jar has mixed honey, the label must say how much real honey is inside.

You cannot write "filtered honey" on the label anymore. This word is for lower quality honey.

People who sell honey have time to change their labels. After June 2025, shops must follow the new rules.

This is good for shoppers. They will know what is in the honey. It is also good for beekeepers in Cyprus. Their real honey is protected.
