Bad News for Earth's Air

A new study has bad news. Big forests in Africa now put bad air into the sky. Before, they cleaned the air. People cut trees for farms and mines. The weather is hotter. This hurts the forests.

This is a big problem. All the world's biggest forests now put bad air into the sky.

At the same time, the world still uses a lot of oil and gas. A big energy group says we will use more oil and gas for many years. Cars and new computers need it.

So, the forests are sick, and we use more dirty fuel. This is bad for our world's air. It makes the future more difficult.
