The American leader wrote a peace plan. The Russian leader, Mr. Putin, says the plan is good. He says it can be the start of peace talks.
But Mr. Putin also says Ukrainian soldiers must leave some places. If they do not leave, he says the Russian army will fight.
Other countries in Europe are watching. They want Ukraine to be safe. An American man will go to Moscow next week to talk more.
