Peace Talks Are Slow

A special person named Maria talked. She is from the UN. She talks about peace in Cyprus.

She says there is not much good news. The talks cannot start again. This is a problem.

Maria met the leaders. They have different ideas. This is clear.

She wants to help them. She met President Nikos. She met Mr. Tufan too.

The leaders talked together. They talked about their worries. They talked about the future.

Mr. Tufan gave an idea. Everyone looked at it.

Maria said, "Not much progress." There is no real change. She hopes they can do more. They need to act now.

Slow progress stops a big meeting. Other countries will come. People hoped for good news. Leaders must show they want to move. This is important.
